@jsonbecker do you know what your state and your energy utility are doing to support wind and solar? You could advocate for incentives at the state level if they don't exist already, or with your utility for an opt-in program with a higher breakdown of renewables than the standard mix. At the local level, you could advocate for things like Community Solar projects, streamlined permitting for solar installs, and campaigns that make it easier to install solar panels in your community (I got my solar panels through a city program that pre-vetted contractors and streamlined permitting). You can also advocate for your municipality to report on their emissions and buy into renewable energy sources.
