Technical mystery: some social comments are landing on my main site (TracyDurnell.com) through Bridgy but I don’t use Bridgy 🤔 (Example Bluesky link to my website and Mastodon reply to a link to my website but my username not tagged in either post, but in that instance I did not get a mention from OP.)
My main site is on WordPress, I don’t have the ActivityPub plugin installed, and had only used Bridgy with Twitter. I don’t see my website on the list of Bridgy users. I’m not following the Bridgy bluesky bridge account.
I’m federated through micro.blog on a subdomain. I receive some domain mentions on micro.blog also.
I’m wondering if federating the subdomain has semi-federated the main domain too? And/or, did I turn on a setting in micro.blog that enabled Bridgy?
Not that I necessarily want to change anything, but I’m confused and want to know what to expect 🤷♀️
