Woke at 6 this morning to howling and yipping coyotes in the greenbelt behind our house. They hushed when my husband held his phone by the window so they may be close 😳 I’d found scat in my yard, but didn’t expect a whole pack 😅 I’m pro-wildlife but that many so near is mildly disconcerting.
Rick Rupp We’ve lived amongst coyotes for years without incident. One of our dogs has a little coyote in her background, and will occasionally howl back at them when they get going.
Michael Bogdanffy-kriegh came face to face with a coyote once. In a vacant lot. Fortunately it was alone. We took a good look at each other and went our separate ways.

Michael Bogdanffy-kriegh they don’t often attack people but it isn’t unknown. Probably not when alone as this one seemed to be. At first I thought it was a mangey dog but realized after we parted company what it was. It was in town so a little unusual.
